Cabinet Lefort
Self-initiated concept project — a brief we set ourselves, not a client engagement. The business named here is hypothetical.
Brief
A hypothetical accounting practice with a site that was never bad, just old — dated type, a cluttered homepage, and years of content nobody wanted to lose in a rebuild. The brief tests the exact tension every real refonte client raises: modernise without starting from a blank page and losing what already works.
Approach
Existing page structure and copy were audited first, then kept wherever they already did their job — the redesign changed layout, type, and hierarchy, not the content strategy from zero. New pages were added only where a real gap existed (a proper Contact page with hours and a map, not just a phone number in the footer).
Craft notes

The before/after comparison lived in a single working document throughout — every changed element has a documented reason, which is the discipline a redesign needs that a new build doesn’t.
Outcome (design intent)
Designed to look current without discarding the search visibility and content a business has already built up over years.

Six were self-initiated. Yours would be the first real one.
